R-Coil is now on kickstarter. It’s a beautiful, Vector Style arcade game, with some interesting powerups, a killer co-op mode, an awesome duel mode, and one of the most innovative game mechanics I have seen in an arcade space shooter.

I originally posted this back in 2013. I had cause to revisit it today.

I have recently encountered one of the funniest, most creative, and most moving peices of media I’ve consumed in recent memory. It’s an article titled “What Football Will Look Like in the Future.” It’s also a science fiction story about a world in which people live forever, and still act fantastically human. The story is presented from the point of view of “9”, who is hurtling through space. The whole thing wonderful, and well done, and part four is due out in a few minutes.

I publish a quarterly Science Fiction pulp called A Brief History of the Future.This quarter just started, and that means there is a new issue available. I just got the proofs in the mail, and they look GREAT.
